Trisomy Awareness Month

Our mission at Friends of 4p+ is to increase awareness and understanding of trisomy 4p (duplication 4p) and bring 4p+ families together. In honor of Trisomy awareness month, each day in March we will be spotlighting a different individual with trisomy 4p. We hope that sharing these stories will be the first step toward creating a place where information on trisomy 4p is more easily accessible for families as well as friends, neighbors, and educators who want to better understand these unique individuals. By spreading awareness we hope to reach any families who are currently fighting this battle alone and help connect them with other 4p+ families for support.

Even if you don't personally know anyone with trisomy 4p we hope that by taking the time to learn more about our special children you will better understand those you encounter with special needs and feel more comfortable giving them a smile and saying hi.
