Brianna was born September 2007. She was diagnosed with a "rare chromosome" disorder at 5 months old after an emergency intestinal malrotation surgery. Which prompted testing. She was also diagnosed with a brain anomaly called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum (missing her corpus callosum) at this time. 

Since then Brianna has had a handful of diagnoses thrown her way including Bronchecstasis which unfortunately is permanent lung damage. It wasn't until right before her 5th birthday, during a 44 day hospitalization, that we did genetic testing and we finally received a name to her rare chromosome disorder, Trisomy 4P. That's when I found our amazing Facebook group. Brianna is simply an amazing, sweet, happy, loving and loved girl. 

Her biggest motivation has been her big sister, Hailey. If there is one thing Brianna absolutely LOVES besides her sister, of course, it's Mickey Mouse and anything Frozen. Her speech started to develop around 4 years old and ever since it continues to grow along with it her personality. 

Like all of our Trisomy 4 kiddos, she is unique and simply perfect. I wouldn't change a hair on her, because of all the hard (and to be honest horrible moments) we have been through with her health we appreciate life that much more. We don't take a day or an I love you for granted. We love our perfectly imperfect and imperfectly perfect baby girl more than words could ever say.
